I'll make this brief. I have a recording which I have uploaded to CD Baby.
I did not send it a physical copy. I had someone sighted help me with the
inaccessible uploader. Bottom line is, it's uploaded. My user name is
chris28210, but I'm not getting how people find me on the site. We just got
the stuff uploaded today, so I know it may take a bit to have them approve
the audio. The artwork has already been finalized but I don't know if the
audio has. Being this is way off topic, feel free to write me off list. I
don't want this thread staying on list. Slau would kill me! I just need to
reach out though being a lot of you are musicians with albums. Surely
someone up here's gone through CD baby and knows how that process works. If
I type It Takes Time, or Chris Gilland in the search box, I get results but
none of 'em are me. So, I don't know how to point people to my page. I
tried creating a store widget, but it says I have to be selling music on CD
Baby first. I thought I kind a was, being I uploaded the stuff. It is just
that it takes a bit to show up on the site? I know the 3rd party places
like ITunes etc. it takes a while, but I was under the impression even
though the music may not be up there3 right away they'd at least! let people
browse to your album page and read your bio, etc.
I checked the FAQ, but see nothing rellavant to this question.
Again, this is way off topic, so please do not clutter the list with this
thread. I'm gonna ask this one time only, and that's it. Please write me
off list for future responses.
