My friend has been mastering a project and when he is finished in Protools the meater on the Master fader is a hair under 0DB but when he pulls it up in his Adobi Addition it is at about -7 DB. I am wondering if anyone has experienced their mixes sounding lower once bounced down from PT and if so what they did to fix the problem. Is there something in the bounce down settings or another menue that needs to be changed? He is dithering and using sound shaping tools as well.
