hi i made a four measure bet and i selected it i hit command C then i went to
the measure i wanted it to copy to i did the paste command nothing got pasted
i had a selection
anything i’m missing
i am new at this stuff

You need to make sure that you have used command-t to make a cut at the
beginning and at the end of your selection and also make sure that your
selection is highlighted with VO keys-shift-space bar.
and make sure that you are on the part you want to copy It will be a newly
numbered region when y
