Hi, Are these issues with using the mouse pointer with Pro Tools with voiceover going to be fixed and is Apple aware of them as I like the old method much better and think this new method can make new users not want to use Pro Tools if they use the audio tutorials around that don't talk about

Single tap works best because you can then use VoiceOver to navigate menus and submenus. Without the settings as I've outlined, a single tap would only open the menus and close them as soon as you lifted your finger off the track pad. For Command-clicking a Solo button, it's not an issue but

They're aware and nobody every knows if and when Apple will do anything about any bugs. That's just the way Apple is. There's no particular method about the behavior in Pro Tools once you tether the mouse pointer except that sometimes adding the shift modifier to perform a physical mouse click
