It's not clear to me exactly what you want, but ExpressionToToken
(in the Conversions library) will convert strings in Matlab syntax
to matrices. E.g.,

"[1, 2, 3; 4, 5, 6]"

becomes a matrix with two rows and three columns.

Is this what you want?

Hello,
I am new to Ptolemy II and Kepler. I searched the ptolemy library for an actor that converts strings to matrices; however, I couldn't find. If you could let me know whether there is such an actor and I missed, I would highly appreciate it. Thank you in advance. Sincerely, Merve Ildeniz
