manager, I would like to host the demos and deliver the content I have

I'm not totally sure on this, but I think since the pulp_file plugin is
defining the File content type and additional fields it has to also define
the filterset that goes with it.
Can someone else with more DRF experience confirm that plugin writers must
define a filterset for pulp to work? Or cou
Sure, I'd be happy to do that. I do think there's plenty of room for a
"What's happening with the technology" segment and a "What else is going on
in the community" segment if you'd like to keep doing highlights there, but
otherwise I am happy to take care of it.

I believe the cherry picking approach will avoid merge-forward problems
we've experienced, allow for less friction during community contribution,
and create a more stable project overall.

The content you are describing is the same content I usually plan to cover
also. Then on the day-of we realize that we have the same content. I think
this is the root of the issue that is causing me to raise this problem to
begin with. Switching the name won't resolve it.
In looking at a community
I went back and looked at PUP-3 and it does lay out some of the items
@pcreech mentions although at a higher, more general level. I’ll leave the
document as is unless someone disagrees.
With that in mind, let's go ahead and vote on PUP-3. We’ll end the voting
on October 8th which is about 10 days
