We hit a couple of issues and are still in the process of getting the
Pulp 2.5.0 beta build out. It should be available sometime on Monday.

This appears to be caused by incorrect metadata on the upstream server. I've
alerted the team responsible for that content, and they are investigating.
In the mean time, you can work-around the issue by skipping the distribution
step during sync:
$ pulp-admin rpm repo update --repo-id=foo --ski

Just to follow up, this was caused by an update to /etc/hosts on this test
machine that clobbered the entry that pointed fqdn to 127.0.0.1. It just
happened to coincide exactly with the 2.4.1 upgrade time frame. Meh...
