If you search a multiuser solution you should use RDP or
Xorg or a desktop like protocol and not a CONSOLE like solution.

I've seen that when you have a cluster (3 nodes) and setup a backup
for all machines the backup starts at the same time on all three
machines
and this causes many trouble over nfs.
I've resolved doing a
backup on each node at a different time...
