Hi,

Our cluster hyper converge storage with gluster and virtualization with
proxmox. We've detected that when we want to reboot/shutdown the host we must
first kill the gluster processes or the other nodes/glusterfs clients must wait
the 42s gluster timeout and VMs can (and usually do) enter in a inconsistent
state or their disks in read-only file system. By killing the process on the
node we want to reboot/shutdown, the clients acknowledge it immediately and
there are no risk.

We do it manually, but as rebooting is something we don't do usually, is easily forgettable. So we
would like to make some wrapper in order to achieve this, and we would like to know how the GUI
buttons "Shutdown" and "Restart" works.

Are they calling "systemd poweroff" and "systemd reboot" respectively? Are they calling
"halt" and "reboot"? Are they doing some programming call instead?

Thank you

Best,
