I just mentioned this on another thread on pvfs2-users, but I'm not sure
if you are having the same problem or not. Could you try compiling the
cvs trunk version of PVFS and let us know if that fixes the problem?

I think this error means that some code is trying to perform a
blocking read on non-blocking socket and there is no data present. You
are running 2.7.1?
