Hi, I commited a patch (to the kunkel branch) which adds hint support to the client-core and the kernel. Therefore each request creates the request id hint if the core parameter "--create-request-id" was given. It adds the hostname and the programs pid to the request callid.
I think it is good to set the complete request id from the client, so the client decides if it should be generated or not.
