It's actually a large stitched panorama which I want to scroll across the
display. So my app is a panorama viewer, not a game, but pygame could load a
scrollable image faster that PIL and TKinter, for example. I got it working
for a large panorama by tiling it into pieces less than 16384 pixels wid
What are you using a 40,000 x 30,000 image for?
