To download all of the resources on pygame.org so that you can use them when you're offline, you can use wget.
Here's the command to use at the command line: wget -mpck --user-agent="" -e robots=off --wait 30 --random-wait http://www.pygame.org/old/ Let it run for a day. It'll download 1.4GB of data. wget is included with Linux distributions. wget can be built with Xcode on OS X: Install wget in Mac OS X Without Homebrew or MacPorts | OSXDaily wget for Windows: http://eternallybored.org/misc/wget/wget-1.15-win32.zip
