Yes. It just doesn't advertise it.
[EMAIL PROTECTED] with a body of subscribe works fine.

I would STRONGLY recommend using Mailman over Majordomo. We've used it

I have just created a post-only list which (if it is set up correctly)
should allow people to recieve list mail at one account and post from
another.
To subscribe, send a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the word
subscribe or "subscribe [EMAIL PROTECTED]" in the body. It should then
be possible
