Hoping to not reinvent the wheel if possible... I'd like to write our code redirects as HTTP/1.1 when applicable (such as 303SeeOther on a successful post submission), but downgrade it to HTTP/1.0's 302 redirect if the client hasn't identified HTTP/1.1.
