I'm having problems "connecting the dots" between the controller, the template
and prototype javascript stuff... I want to dynamically populate the contents
of a select widget based on the onchange event of another select widget.
Something like...
<script type="text/javascript">
Function pop_model(make) {
new Ajax.Updater('model_list', '/controller',
{method='get', parameters:{mfgr:make}});
};
</script>
<select onchange="pop_model(this.value);" id="maker">
<option value="ford">ford</option><option value="chevy">chevy</option>
</select>
<select id="model_list">...</select>
So when the maker select option is changed to chevy, model_list is updated to
contain only chevy models.
