Dear all, Unfortunately having a similar problem with Suse10 and PyMOL. - Freshly installed Suse 10 (KDE3.4) system with binary of 0.99 pymol. - the weird thing is: pymol starts fine if logged in as root - logged in as a user (pymol was 'installed' as a user, not as root!) pymol crashes on start up with a segmentation fault
/usr/share/pymol/pymol/pymol: line 14: 20717 Segmentation fault $PYMOL_PATH/pymol.exe "$@" - the thing i noticed is that as root the GL_RENDERER is recognized during start up of pymol, as a user the GL_RENDERER says 'unknown board'. So, although my system doesn't freeze, it seems to be a similar problem. Anyone a good idea how to solve this? (I don't want to su to root everytime i want to run pymol) Thanks a lot in advance.
