sorry i realized that i didn't explain clearly my question. I was wondering

code,let's say Q65 instead of GLN-65..doing the selection with the left

I am not sure if I got you right.
you can activate the sequence view, when you start pymol by putting
cmd.set('seq_view',1)
in your .pymolrc.py (pymol's config file).
(or
set seq_view, 1
in .pymolrc, as you like)
