[PyMOL] pasting into Native GUI stopped working

I have MacPyMOL, which I downloaded as macpymol-0_98rc2, running on a 
G5 with the Jaguar OS X (10.3.9).  I used to be able to cut and paste 
from text files and into the PyMOL GUI, for example to access a view 
that I stored in a log file using get_view and set_view.  Now I can no 
longer paste successfully into the GUI (either the Native GUI or the 
Viewer window).

Has this happened to anyone else?  Any suggestions for fixing?
