I do not know if it will solve your problem, but in any case you can
save yourself some future problems if you use python 2.6. It already
expects VS2008 while python 2.5 expects VS2003.

In a nutshell, the PyQt licensing will not be changed in the short term.
This is mainly a financial decision - I want to ensure that PyQt
