polynice is a nice(1)-like command line utility for unix systems to
throttle long running processes beyond what can be achieved by nice(1),
by repeatedly suspending and resuming the process.
It is written for python3, though there is some python2.6 & 2.7 compatibility.

team, I'm relieved to announce the availability of Python 3.5.0b2.
Python 3.5.0b1 had a major regression (see
http://bugs.python.org/issue24285 for more information) and as such was
not suitable for testing Python 3.5.
