I am currently the only moderator for this list. It’s extremely low traffic,

I am looking for a volunteer to help with that, and eventually take over the
list.

We started this list back in 2009 as a way for new and experienced authors
writing about Python to share with each other. The list has been largely
dormant since then. Many of you may not even remember subscribing to it. Most
of the traffic I have seen over the last couple of years is related to

for speakers for their event in Columbia, SC on March 27-28. This looks like a
good opportunity to participate in a regional conference.

Hi, everyone,
I'm starting plan another "Writing About Python" open space session
for PyCon in February. I had positive reports after last year's
session, but want to do something a little more structured this year.
Should we do a simple meet-and-greet again, or are there specific
topics
- PIL, Steganography, PyGame, etc.
* Writing Pythonic Code - Tips and guidelines, PEP 8, etc.
If any of these give you ideas for articles, drop me a line and we can
work out the details.
Thanks,
Doug
