After removing whole /usr/lib/python2.3 and installing from scratch the installation was succesful. Error message was as I wrote: "libinstall error". Command chain was very usual: ./configure --prefix=/usr --disable-ipv6 make make test make install Error was raised during last step, the very last entry before error occured on the list of installed libraries was zipfile.py. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Martin v.
