I wrote a Tkinter application that runs fine with Python 2.6.5 and 2.6.6 on a
Windows 7 (32-bit version) machine. The same app fails with 2.7.1. Below is the
debug output:

Jack, I would wipe out the tcl directory and rerun the 2.7.1 installer,
selecting just the tk/tcl/idle option. I have trouble believe that every 2.7.1
install on win7 is bad.
