Hi,
luckily announce some progress in python-mode.el (branch)
`py-match-paren' now has a key: "%" as in lisp.
`M-x py-match-paren-mode', jump between beg and
end of block pressing "%". To the beginning first, if
inside.
Key "%" is not as suitable as in lisp,
as its more often needed in python.
