should be converted to unsigned type before doing bitwise operator. I am doing
this just to avoid codex warnings.
If you think it is not necessary to do so, I can remove it.

The qemu works good by now after taking the patch when I attach virtio-scsi

Hi, when I attach virtio-scsi disk to VM, the qemu crash happened at very low
probability.
The qemu crash bt is below:
