How so ?
Well, in Fedora Core 4 test 3 (kernels 2.6.11.* and 2.6.12-rc*):
video switching at boot from yaboot with Open Firmware to Tux with
scrolling VGA text is problematic, and switching v

DragonflyBSD, (http://dragonflybsd.org) manages to install & run.
Startup in ready system seems to hang on;
"Configuring syscons: keymap scrnmap font8x8 blanktime.",
but gets over it without errors by pressing Ctrl+C.

This port is not documented in the PREP specification. You should check
in the Linux kernel to see if this port seems important. Or you may take
a look to Motorola PowerStack documentation: tho

I have changed cocoa.m (0.7.0) to use openGL with very fast texturing.
I removed the use of QuickDraw. The DisplayState data is now DMA'd to
the graphics card instead of copied by the CPU. This uses apple's
