Sorry, I forgot to give steps to reproduce the issue:
1) I used Tiny Core Linux from here:
http://distro.ibiblio.org/tinycorelinux/downloads.html
2) started it with
$ qemu-system-x86_64 -enable-kvm -m 1024 -usb -device usb-mouse -hda
TinyCore-current.iso
