The QEMU versions mentioned in this ticket are quite old already ... can
you still reproduce this with the latest version of QEMU? If so, please
also provide the exact command line parameters that you used to start
QEMU, and the steps you took afterwards to get to the crash? Thanks!

puh, it did take a while, but meanwhile another segfault has occured,
which has nothing to do with the above one. due to the long time, it
took to happen, it might not be as reproducible as needed for efficient
debugging, at least I've currently no further time for this. I'll now

Since vnc-thread-support is not compiled into the qemu-kvm package, the
bug is invalid there. I will mark it as affecting the upstream QEMU
project. Note you'll want to use git://git.qemu.org/qemu.git as the
upstream code base.
