I confirm that qemu runs X32 guests just fine, I use a Debian X32
image myself that runs without problems using qemu-system-x86_64

computer using the target filesystem as the rootfs, it works fine; when I
boot it using qemu-system-x86_64 (version 2.8.0), I get a kernel panic with
"Requested init /sbin/init failed (error -8)."
Does qemu support the x32 AB
