Hi, I am a current maintainer of 'Google Layers' plugin.
I would like to propose dropping it in favor of 'OpenLayers' plugin,
which is doing the same thing in much better way. Personally I use
'OpenLayers' too and I recommend it to all users interested in loading
Google maps.

I think it's a good thing to reduce such redundancy which only confuses new
