Ok I was able to replicate, using the file tenbytenraster.asc as
input, but other grayscale images load fine (i.e. landsat_b1.tif).
However, if I convert it to a gtiff file externally with gdal, the
resulting gtiff file can be saved in qgis with compression options.
Can you replicate that?

That depends on how the SEXTANTE team chooses to work. Normally new

without problems.
Maybe it's with a specific file you are having problems?

Hi all,
I just merged sextante-import branch to master. There is some
work to be done (like running tests and rebuild docs), but SEXTANTE
itself installed and works fine.

Many, many thanks, your master nightly version for Snow Leopard works very
well (the browser also).
I am not a programmer, as I have already said, but I know very well Python,
which allowed me to correct some plugins, like Sextante, so they work on

I noticed the same thing on osgeo4w builds of a few days ago, with a
multi-band raster (nodata disabled).
However in linux I can't reproduce this. Can update to latest master
and send a screenshot?
I assume this is with a single-band raster? Does it happen with
multi-band raster?

Looking foreward to see you all in Essen.

still merged into master), but unfortunately, I have not had time to
do any work. I am currently rather busy, as I have started a new job,
but I hope to have more time soon (and specially, more energy), to
