I think option 2 is the best here but don't just warn the user let them
pick it from the message box.
So something like:
You have blend modes enabled but we can't print them as vectors. What do
you want to do?
Enable Print as Raster | Print as Vector | Cancel
When someone pressing Enable Print
Hi all,
I'm after some advice on the best way to handle pdf or printer output
of compositions when the composition or map contains blending.
Since QPrinter doesn't support the QPainter composition modes, any
blending options are currently ignored when exporting a composition to
pdf/printer. There

I like this logo, not so keen on the colors though, but keeping into
consideration the time constrain its understandable. I would prefer darker
shade of grey and a more vibrant green, looks a bit opaque for me

Just did a test using GDAL 1.10.0 on Windows XP. It looks like ogr2ogr is
now giving the correct results with both +no_uoff and +no_off.
Now we'll wait for QGIS to pick up the new GDAL.

Does this work on Windows?
Sorry, I should have mentioned from the beginning that we're on Windows.

I've the same process/repo names than described on your blog, the

Hi JR
It all depends how YOU called your "upstream" .. your fork on github after
cloning is always called "origin" ..
The rest depends which repository you cloned and which one is the remote

Hi Werner,
Thank for the answer, I already tried git reset but got stuck on that :
$ git reset --hard upstream/master
fatal: ambiguous argument 'upstream/master': unknown revision or path
not in the working tree.
Use '--' to separate paths from revisions, like this:
'git [...] -- [...]'
But
assuming that you have commited something to your origin (your fork on
github)
you should first clean your local repo with upstream - to be in sync with
upstream
git reset --hard upstream/master
and then force your local to your origin..
git push origin +master
the bad thing is that you will lo
Hi,
Could a git expert tell me how to clean my repo ?
The situation : my fork origin/master is synced with upstream/master but
if I do a pull request, some old commits are taken into account even if
they aren't relevant.
The desired solution : wipe all my local history and get a "pure" copy
and here the link... thx Matthias

If you save the ini file out and edit it by hand. It's just a bunch of
true and false switches. You can can then load QGIS using the
--customizationfile your.ini option and it will change the UI on load
QGIS can also take a --code yourpythonfile.py that will run after the
project is loaded.

IIRC you can deploy a customization.ini file, it will be read at startup
