I'm currently running 2.5 and I am not able to find one very useful
feature (under my opinion) of plugin installer. I miss the ability to
'see' where are the plugin is accessible through the GUI. For instance,

In my experience, disappearing lines was also an issue in the previous

This problem was there in the previous version. It's kind of annoying but
if you give it a jiggle, either by zooming in or out or moving the scroll
bars they should reappear.
In my experience, its gets worse as you add more actions.

gdal-sosi version is the old one:

+1 For dropping single point selection button.
I think that having too many options\buttons can sometimes be overwhelming
for new users, and in this case users won't notice much difference in usage
anyway (do we need to decide what to do with the icon).
