Hi Matteo,
Indeed, it was worth the wait. This is more than what I expected when
opening this thread. Nice plan you have, Alexander and you: it will

Just now I noticed that the functionality to merge all shapefiles from a

I see 6 bug reports assigned to me and I'm going to sort them out for QGIS 3.
It would be great if everybody could review all tickets assigned to her/him
and close or release those you're not going to fix. Then we can review those
unassigned and probably close as won'tfix.

I took the liberty to do some changes to the doc (especially add a new
table with more detailed features on the existing tools + comments). It's
supposed to replace the table already drafted but I didn't go so far
without a review.

Hi Jürgen,
Thanks for the fix, bit it seems that something is still wrong with
2.99.0-14 that was just built.
The size of x86 version is 396MB similar to build 8, but the size of the
x64 build is just 29MB.
Both match their md5sum.

Thanks for the fix, when would I see the next weekly?
I prefer a standalone installer which only available for weekly.

Hi,
I am Simran, an intern at the Institute for Software in HSR Rapperswil. I have
come up with some Custom Python Expression functions for QGIS. They are:
1. hstore_get_value(), hstore_exist(), hstore_contains_key_value() and
hstore_contains_hstore() :
These functions can search for keys and

Hi Stéphane,
actually there's no more UX team (list). UX mailing list has been shut down
months ago because it used to refer to dev list for most of
decisions/advices so UX matters are now discussed either in the dev mailing
list (we maybe can keep this thread) or, I guess until QGIS3 release, in

Hi all
there have been a few additions in the Gdoc already (not sure from whom)
but I don't know if this is already sufficient for developers to take this
up?
Also, I am not sure how to reach out to the UX team. Through a separate
mailing list? Or is it sufficient to have it here

Hi Dev,
I'd like to test a way to update layer variables like edited_feature_id
when the QgsAttributeDialog will be displayed.
So I'd like to know if there is a signal to connect to it to know when a
QgsAttributeDialog will be displayed.
Thanks,

Thanks Mattias for the info,
I do not have a predetermined preference
between geopackage and spatialite
if you don't mind,
i do not know very well the gpkg format but
I understand that it's not spatialite.
I'd like to understand the pros or cons
between the two formats
