Hi Nyall,
First a big Thanks for looking and answering!
I was wondering why nobody was so excited as I was :-)
I agree/can live with most of your clarifications.
Some remarks:

Hi all,
Just after some opinions on whether or not the native c++ processing
algorithm implementations (qgsnativealgorithms.cpp/.h) should
ultimately reside in core or analysis.
Up till 3.0 analysis has been a bit of a funny library, since it mixed
up the logic for the analysis methods with their
Thanks Larry, that's interesting. libqscintilla2_qt5 is already in
cmake/FindQScintilla.cmake. The output of my cmake command also tells me
that it's finding QScintilla2 in
/usr/local/lib/libqscintilla2_qt5.dylib.
The problem seems to be that upon compilation, Qsci.so expects it to be
called
Thx Jurgen!
No hurry, just to know how to answer people asking ;)

Hi guys
Thank you all for your suggestions. Calls to print() triggering
QCoreAppliation::processEvents() explains the phenomena and I was able
to fix using the Boundless's QNetworkAccessManager wrapper instead of
the requests library.
Thanks again!
