Hi all,
given the small impacts and the benefit of emptying the PR queue, can we go
for a merge of https://github.com/qgis/QGIS/pull/5663 (named transactions
in executeSQL)?
I know we voted to not add it in the freeze exemptions, but that was in the
target of keeping a release date in end 2017. Now
Hi,
I would prefer Feb 8 over Jan 31. Still quite a few unsolved issues. It
would be nice to have packages ready before the dev meeting in Funchal
(second half of February).
As an example I still get error messages about the authentication
manager not able to open password files or reading/stor

I've been taking a close look at a way to install QGIS with >= GDAL 2 on
64bit Ubuntu 14.04 and 16.04 for production desktops.
It's not possible to install QGIS using the https://qgis.org/debian package
archive as the ubuntu 14.04 archives only supports GDAL 1.10.1 and 16.04
only support
Let that person with authority also lock in the release date.
Very last day of this month, Jan 31? While Feb 8 isn't that far, it'd still
be great to deliver our product by the end of this month. Either way we
need to settle on a date.

Hello list.
My name is Rui Cavaco, a supporter for OSGeo Portugal, and I see the need
for some future major changes in desktop GIS user interfaces in order to
facilitate complex features editing and querying.
GML and INSPIRE are about complex features but so are fiber optic networks.

I got this too. See pull request #6015 for details.

of cpu) with warning messages that shapefiles could not be opened.

freeze safely. Woohoo!

Richard,
Thanks for verifying this. It appears that the bug is with 2.18 and is not
in 2.99.
The wrong result that I get is dependent on the function run. I either get
one of the original layers or no result.
