Hi Martin,
yeah that's exactly what I thought because the file is there:
matteo@debian:/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu$ ls | grep -i libQt53DEx

libQt53DExtras.so

Hmm that's strange - it seems like there is something
Yeah, there’s a lot to do. I think a good place to start is to weed out old
PR’s and issues that are no longer relevant. It is easier to start from a
(somewhat) clean slate! I can go through the issue tracker and ping you on
those that can be closed. Or I can do it myself if I can get the proper
Hi Kristian,
Thanks for your reply.
Totally agree on these points, that's what I'm trying to do, but it's so
much time consuming!
Thanks again for your input.
Best wishes,

Hi Denis,
I don’t think my knowledge on the various QGIS dependencies is good enough for
me to do that just yet.
My main intention was to get the ball rolling on this again and if that
required someone to step up and
take a lead I’d be willing to do that. Now that I understand the situation a

Hi Matteo
do you have qt3d5-dev package installed? That's the package containing

Dear developers,
about two months ago I reported a longstanding bug in QGIS 2.18
(https://issues.qgis.org/issues/18132) about a wrong dpi resolution in
images exported from composer.
Two weeks later I sent a pull request

Hi guys,
sorry sorry to bother the list you again with this, but I'm stack and
maybe someone has a quick solution.
I have a really fresh installation of debian unstable, so all the Qt
dependencies should be satisfied for the 3D.
However, if I enable the WITH3D flag in ccmake I'm not able to conf
