on sid we have grass 7.4.4-1

release there may still be bugs, even serious, so people are prepared

'm working on it, with the help of other users. Not easy because
of different versions of many libs. Main objective of this mail was to
check if it's a local issue, and there are tons of happy PGRaster users
around. My impression is that they are not widely used.
