Hello all,
There are lots of SVG files that do not seem to not render in the Print
Composer, and they are not visible in the display section of the items
properties.
Anyone confirm this?

Can confirm - I filed a bug report a few days ago -
http://hub.qgis.org/issues/14385
I haven't checked any of my windows installs - just Ubuntu 15.10.

SVG files render correctly in print composer and support overriding of
graphics properties.
Thanks a lot for researching/dealing with this!
