Just a thought today from some feedback from a user. Could the deselect
and delete selected features have a change in icons. Both these icons look
very a like and preform very different actions.

I would like to suggest some form of bin icon,

I think red was thought to be for actions like delete, so I think
keeping this color is ok.
IIRC Robert has put some thoughts into that.
How about removing saturation from the yellow selection rectangle? I
think making it completely gray would be ok.

For small icons (16x16px) used in several forms we should even simplify
it and for [delete/delete selected] use just simple red
