Regarding WFS-T: it is not yet planned. OpenLayers has some
digitizing
support - so at least from the client side, some basisc support for
editing already exists. However, it would add an additional
dependency

Yes - the printing widget takes the layout from the print composer
layouts in the .qgs project files.
It is a QGIS proprietary extension to the WMS standard - a GetPrint
command where you can specify the layout, scale, map extent, rotation
and grid interval for the graticule.
