Hi list,
I would like to generate a polygon grid. The coordinate system i need is the
old French NTF (with grad unit and Paris as first meridian).
No trouble, there is the espsg code: 4807. When looking description of 4807 in
spatialrefsys, grad as unit are well indicate. So... all seem

Hi Michel,
Never use epsg 3857 for measurement beacuse it is not a "projection"...
this "pseudo projection mercator" 3857, called often "Popular Visualisation "
is pseudo Because only use for visualization applications.
example in France : 3200 km for a road for example, instead of 2100
Hi,
i want to use an old French coordinate projection .
this projection (called ATIG / Bonne France Etat Major) can be seen here :
http://spatialreference.org/ref/sr-org/8192/
i clic on proj4
so i can see and i can copy the Proj 4 définition as follow:
+proj=bonne +lon_0=0 +lat_1=0
Thanks Victor,
That's what i thought to...There are some (litte) steps to do manualy.
But i need to propose my users a easy script, so i am going to look for a quick
script ( a good way to have a look to model and script...)
best regards,
Julien
