Greets
Currently running Kubuntu 8.04RC and having difficulty installing qgis from
the designated repository timlinux on launchpad. There seems to be cyclical
dependencies around libqgis-core0.10 and libqgisl
Was wondering what the solution is now that qgis has been dropped from the
main repo

Or what does this enhancement_1004.txt of ticket 1004 exactly do?
See Settings > Options > Map t
yes - exactly. The mouse wheel should in my opinion behave like those zoom
in/out buttons who also define a new map center. But it doesn't.
Thanks for your confirmation,

Hi,
I can confirm, support for the mouse wheel to zoom to the coordinates
pointed by the mouse cursor doesn't work as it does using the Zoom in and Zoom
out Icons in the toolbar.
Or what does this enhancement_1004.txt of ticket 1004 exactly do?

hm - I am confused. I just checked out the most recent SVN version and it
still uses the previous map extent to center the image when zooming - not
the current mouse position.
http://trac.osgeo.org/qgis/ticket/1004
suggests that it should work - but it doesn't.
