Hi all,
tested with qgis1.6 on both ubuntu10.10 and windowsXP, the extend of a
openlayers layer (using openstreetmap rendering) in the composer is
zoomed in when the canvas is exported to an image (png, jpg,...) or to
a pdf file.

Noli and Volker,
Thanks for the tip. I'll try both approach.

For shapefiles, the tilde operator doesn't seem to work for queries, but it
works in the attribute table's search. That could be a starting point for an
export, if that is acceptable.
I confirm, often moving the image on the canvas fixes up the things.

Maybe this depends on the fact that that Google layers come at fixed
scale levels?
cheers

Hi everyone
The title says it all. I searched on the web, but could not find some solution

I have had this problem for all time on xp, osgeo4w. updating and new dev,
nothing has fixed it. Now I find a page that says this env is not supposed
to be used anymore.
1. Is this just my problem?
2. Does anyone know how to fix it?

I'm having two problems:
1 - was using qgis normally, but now when trying to add layer postgis, states
the following: the base does not support data postgis.
2 - I qgis installed on multiple computers, and of these, trying to add raster
layer, is not recognizing file type. Ecw
Hello Brad:
From your
description I gather that you have QGIS installed with the OSGeo4W
installer. And on the same machine you also have a separate GRASS
installation. And you're saying that you can start GRASS on its
own with the GISDBASE, LOCATION and
No.
What is your GPS?
You have to make this GPS working first.
Use google search for info about your GPS and proper installation in
Windows 7. You have make your GPS working first in Windows 7.
If this is Garmin GP, use this info.
