Hi,
Like others, I am experiencing severe problems with the new raster
provider. The Geotiff already has pyramids. With the previous raster
provider it opened in less than a second, in the new raster provider it
takes forever (several minutes). There must be something wrong.

hi list,
i have a tilecache server which serve jpeg images,
this tilecache works fine and i can see map/tiles with openlayers
but unable to see this maps with qgis,
what's wrong ??

Hi,
are you adding the layer using the layers tab or the tilesets tab?
In case try adding the layer from the list you'll see in the tilesets
tab.
