I just installed the latest QGIS dev version and now the the program doesnt
load (neither does qgis 1.7). The following message appears when I load
qgis:
The program cant start because gdal18.dll is missing from your compiter.
Try reinstalling to fix the program

AFAIK if you want to script QGIS you should use python.

I got it to work again, but Im not sure how it happened. I reinstalled 1.8
without success but then I installed 1.9 and it started working.
