Not sure if this is what you're looking for, but the simple way to extract
nodes for a given line in QGIS is via Vector Geometry Tools Extract
nodes. That's just the point-and-click manual GUI way though, so if you
need to do this in batches then try Micha's solution
The new feature in 1.8:
- Export/add geometry column tool can export info using layer CRS,
project CRS or ellipsoidal measurements
Not able to use with changing project CRS and On The Fly both, tried with
field calculator also with geometry. What is right way?

Hi,
AFAIK it must be Microstation V7 dgn, V8 dgn is not supported.

Hi Users,
Are there any users out there on Ubuntu 12.04 getting the following

Hi Users,
Are any other users getting similar problems to me?. All of which worked in

- Opening older project files crash QGIS 1.8.0?
- Setting the CRS to EPSG: 27700 (OSGB/36) causes 1.8 to crash?
- adding a PostGIS layer causing a crash?

Dear Kadu,
this looks like an installation problem of your qgis-server as it is not
able to deliver a map on a getmap-request. The labels and so are drawn
by OpenLayers, the core of the QGIS client.
It's easier to test the pure qgis-server installation first and try via
the getmap request,

Hi Dennis,
the documentation might be a bit misleading. In fact you have to insert
with to_tsvector(somestring).
I normally use views as search relations so if I have a table

it would be something like
CREATE OR REPLACE VIEW search_streets AS
SELECT

looks like a problem with your qgis-project.

Maybe it's better to start with one layer with a simple symbol for

Also do not use complex classification first - this drives

Hey Bernhard,
thank you for the advice, this solution seems to be logical. I created a

var useGeoNamesSearchBox = false;
var searchBoxQueryURL = /wsgi/search.wsgi?query=;
var searchBoxGetGeomURL = /wsgi/getSearchGeom.wsgi;
Hi
I found the problem
The qgis-web-client has a URL parameter for SRS=EPSG:900913
and the URL of the How To install define it like SRS=EPSG:4326
The SRS of my projects is EPSG:22523
So, i changed this parameter in the URL of the GetMap and I got a Map :D
My URL now is:
Hi,
EPSG 900913 is the google-projection, so you probably asked for data in
a region, where nothing is ::
The BBOX is min x / y and max x/y-coordinate in the refering
EPSG-Code-parameter of your getmap-Request. So your BBOX-values should
fit to your data-extent.
There is no place to set

Hi,
Remember that QGIS is both a server and a client. So it may be easiest
to test if the QGIS server is working fine by using QGIS desktop as a
client.
Then you should check the webserver log to see if there are no errors.
Manual checking of GetCapabilities and GetMap should is also encouraged

Hi everyone
I've resolved the compilation errors that I posted in an email yesterday by
pointing the build to e:\osgeo4w\lib\gdal_i.lib instead of

I tried it. Qgis recreates this folder on start but the problem still occures,
even if it's a first thing I do in Qgis after starting it (without opening any

Any other ideas?
