Hi,
It's difficult for me to plan anything since I'll have to attend a
series of workshops and presentations on work-related topics and I
don't know this year's schedule yet. I could only be support at the

QGIS is reporting that a layer that I know is in EPSG 25833 (ETRS89 /
UTM zone 33N) is in EPSG 3006 (SWEREF99 TM). The website I download
the Shapefile from says it is in 25833, the prj file contains the

Both have the same proj string, so it should not matter.
If you save the file from within QGIS, it creates a .qpj file where the

I agree 100% with Paolo. If you can just check and tell us which
algorithms cause problems or have issues like the one you found, it
will greatly help us.
By the way, I will take care of adding the two versions of the
algorithm that you suggested.
Thanks again

Dear Paolo,
Please check if you like some of these maps I made for the Galapagos

Hi
Two colleagues of mine use QGIS successfully on their Win 8 laptops. So

I want to know whether there is a way to scale the thickness of a line

in the Style dialog would do it, but apparently this only works for
point layers? Please let me know if there is a way to do this (other

Hi Lee,
This will be implemented soon by Sourcepole (maybe 1-2 months timeframe)
as part of our data-defined symbology efforts (similar to data-defined
labeling). So please be a bit patient. Meanwhile you can only classify
and assign the stroke-width manually.

Hello all,
I have created a new plugin called Multipart Split. It's still experimental
and needs to be tested.
The Multipart Split Plugin allows to convert selected multipart features
into single part features, during edit session.
