Of course I will be happy to share my Sextante findings!
Until Sextante appeared in Qgis I have not been using Grass (or SAGA) much,
so my experience with these is limited but I guess I will use them a lot
more now with the straight forward interface delivered by Sextante.
A few questions:

Or,
Could you post the script with line breaks? it is almost unreadable
as you've send it.
Unless Victor has modified sextante lately, sextante does not read
raster layers in R
using the raster package, thus including the original script

Am I right there is no search facility on http://hub.qgis.org/projects/sextante?
I fully understand the wish for no duplicate tickets but for me it seems
difficult to overview 114 existing open issues..
It would be nic if I co

I do not know which version of SEXTANTE he is using, but support for
the raster package is already added
You should use the following syntax
##Layer = raster|R.raster
(just add |R.raster)
This was added by Radoslaw Guzinski (thanks, Rado!)
It is already documented, but only in the rep

I have tested qgis on a Windows 8 tablet, and it works fine, but there
is no multi-touch as the proper navigation tool seems to be available

Giovanni,
The tool is there for windows builds as I needed it for my QMap project,
There is just a patch I haven't applied to the main code to enable it all
the time. You can enable it using Python if you want to test:

Hi all,
I find it somewhat unlogical that "GPX Tools" and "Add new GPX Layer"
share the same icon. I would rather support to have "GPX Tools" to have
a visibly different icon, for example without the green cross that all
"Add Layer!" icons have.
There is already a feature request for it (wit

Hi,
If there's a way to search the whole archive of this list in one go, please
let me know.
Otherwise, can someone perhaps help me with this problem?
I'm using the raster calculator in QGIS 1.8.0 on Windows 7 to find the
difference between two rasters. The two input rasters (ASC files) both hav
I can confirm this problem. On a fresh
install of wheezy, using only the debian repos you get qgis 1.7.5.
After adding the qgis repo it is updated to 1.8.0 but then the
GRASS plugin disappears since grass-6.4.2 is the current version.
On 2/18/2013 8:10 AM,
It seems to work when using sid instead of wheezy only for qgis-repo,
but this doesn't look like a clean solution ;-)

Hi Hanlie,
I too have found "interesting" results returned by the raster calculator
and usually default to loading the data into GRASS and processing it there.
I suspect you may need to convert your input data to *.tif format for the
equation to work in QGIS. This is easily done using gdal_transla
Hello
I've upgrade qgis to 1.8.0.5, since then my plugin dxf2shp is not working.
I insert the source (dxf ) and the destination but when I press OK nothing

I've installed a fresh, stanallone qgis version (the last one) on another
station. The same.
It is possibel to be from gdal versio

Hi,
I confirm that the plugin does not work in QGIS Windows 1.8 (the latest
version from the OSGeo4W installer). The dialogue opens properly. There
is no error message, but nothing happens.
I would rather like to see a fix than removing it. It still serves an
important task until the DXF sup
